About Daniel House
Daniel House is a home design studio based in Portland, Oregon. Using classically inspired design principles, we envision, plan, and construct custom spaces for clients around the world.
By intimately studying the homes we work in, we build spaces that celebrate human character and give credence and purpose of the space.
Our spaces are attentive to original form, inspired by the world we live in, and comprehensible to those who inhabit them.

Zena is the Relations Manager, and resident extrovert, of Daniel House. She hails from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she earned her bachelors in Strategic Communications from the University of Central Oklahoma. Zena went on to develop and manage an organic beauty boutique in Oklahoma City until she found herself moving to Portland, Oregon to work for Daniel House. She ardently prefers hard copy books to electronic readers, appreciates the delicacy of a well-made croissant, and genuinely enjoys learning about people.
Drew is an Oregon Fellow and Daniel House's first intern. He attended George Fox University in Newberg Oregon, where he studied Business. Over the course of his college career he worked at Orvis and Young Life. In most of his spare time you could find Drew Fly Fishing on the Deschutes River. As a classic Oregonian, he never wears a rain jacket in the rain and enjoys a Boneyard IPA.
